POiD – Związek Polskie Okna i Drzwi – is a leading Polish industry association representing manufacturers, suppliers, distributors and installers active across the window, door and building-joinery sector. The organization brings together companies involved in the production and distribution of windows, doors, profiles, glazing, hardware, components, accessories and related building-envelope solutions.

The association acts as a representative voice for the Polish fenestration industry, supporting its members in regulatory, technical, commercial and market-related matters. POiD works with public authorities, research institutions, industry experts and other professional organizations to strengthen the competitiveness of the sector and to improve the business environment for companies operating in the Polish and international markets.

A major part of POiD’s activity is professional education and the promotion of high-quality installation. Through initiatives such as the Dobry Montaż campaign, the association educates installers, sales professionals and end customers about correct installation practices and the impact of installation quality on product performance, energy efficiency and long-term operating costs. The initiative has been developed since 2014 with the support of leading companies from the Polish building-joinery industry.

POiD also supports professional skills development through the Monter Stolarki platform, a specialist magazine and online service aimed at installers, distributors, sales professionals, vocational-school students and teachers. The platform promotes the profession of window and door installer, provides information about new products and technologies and helps professionals improve their technical competence.

The association organizes the annual Polish Joinery Congress (Kongres Stolarki Polskiej), one of the most important industry events in Poland. The Congress brings together manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, installers, business leaders, researchers, policymakers and media representatives to discuss market trends, economic conditions, technology, sales, marketing, sustainability and the future development of the industry.

POiD is also involved in market promotion and industry recognition through projects such as POiD Building Awards and Orły Polskiej Stolarki, which highlight high-quality products, architectural solutions, innovation and outstanding achievements across the building-joinery sector.

In addition, the association provides market research, industry reports, regulatory information and knowledge-sharing opportunities for its members. Its activities cover topics such as market size and structure, export development, distribution channels, installation quality, energy efficiency, sustainability, circular construction and changing European regulatory requirements.

Through its broad network of member companies and industry partners, POiD plays an important role in strengthening cooperation across the entire Polish window and door value chain and in promoting Poland as one of Europe’s leading manufacturing and export markets for windows, doors and related building-joinery products.
