OLIVOTTO was founded in 1946 as a supplier of spare parts and services for machines used in the production of glass bulbs in Italy. A few years later, the company began manufacturing its first rotary-type glass blowing machine, marking the beginning of its history as a machinery manufacturer. Continuous research, innovation and technological development have enabled OLIVOTTO to become a leading international player, supplying turnkey systems and tailor-made solutions for a wide range of production requirements. In August 2003 , Olivotto Glass Technologies acquired the glass division of ANTAS (Italy) , a company with a long-standing tradition and extensive experience in serving the hollow glass industry. In June 2007 , Olivotto Glass Technologies acquired the assets of Lynch Systems (USA) , a company founded in 1914 and one of the world's oldest manufacturers of hollow glass forming machines. In April 2008 , Olivotto Glass Technologies acquired the assets of Lindner Maschinen (Germany) , a well-established company with extensive experience in high-quality production machinery for different types of glass, including lead crystal, soda-lime and borosilicate glass. As a result, OLIVOTTO, ANTAS, LYNCH SYSTEMS and LINDNER MASCHINEN joined forces within Olivotto Glass Technologies, combining their expertise and capabilities to become an international benchmark for hollow glass manufacturing plants, systems and machinery. In 2018 , Olivotto Glass Technologies S.p.A. (OGT) joined the strategic industrial platform represented by the CNBM Group . OGT has maintained its Italian identity and technology-driven approach, with a strong focus on research, competitiveness and continuous technological innovation. In 2023 , leveraging its corporate platform and the addition of highly experienced professionals, OGT established its ENGINEERING Business Unit , further expanding its capabilities in Flat Glass Engineering . OGT became a Project Integrator for CNBM in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and the Americas .
