SLOVENERGOokno

SLOVENERGOokno is a Slovak industry association bringing together manufacturers, suppliers, sellers, technical specialists, universities and other organizations active in windows, doors, glazed walls, curtain walls, lightweight building envelopes and related technologies. Founded in 2008, the association works to improve the quality of product design, manufacturing and installation throughout the Slovak fenestration and façade sector.

The association represents companies manufacturing and selling building-opening elements, curtain-wall systems and shading solutions based on different materials, as well as suppliers of components, technologies and installation materials. It promotes compliance with technical standards and supports technically correct solutions covering windows and doors, installation joints and their integration into the building structure.

SLOVENERGOokno provides its members with technical guidance, access to relevant Slovak technical standards, specialist workshops, installer training, professional conferences, technical publications and industry information. Its expert committees participate in the preparation of technical guidelines, professional opinions and proposals related to standards affecting windows, doors and façade systems.

The organization also promotes energy-efficient fenestration through its window energy-labelling initiative and supports Slovak manufacturers through the “Zaručene slovenské okno” quality and origin initiative. In addition, it provides guidance on installation quality, condensation and moisture-related issues, façade and window performance, CE requirements and other technical challenges affecting the building-envelope sector.

Through cooperation with technical universities, laboratories, manufacturers and industry experts, SLOVENERGOokno promotes higher technical standards, professional competence, energy efficiency and reliable installation practices across the Slovak window, door and façade market.
