UFME

UFME – Union des Fabricants de Menuiseries – is a leading French professional association representing the window and door industry across the entire product life cycle. Its members include system designers, manufacturers, installers, suppliers of components and complementary products, as well as companies involved in recycling and end-of-life management.

The association supports its members through technical expertise, regulatory monitoring, professional training, market information and industry representation at national and European levels. UFME is actively involved in technical standards, quality requirements, certification schemes, energy efficiency, sustainability and circular economy initiatives affecting the fenestration sector.

By bringing together companies from across the French window and door value chain, UFME promotes innovation, product quality, responsible manufacturing, professional installation and the long-term competitiveness of the industry. It also acts as an important interface between manufacturers, public authorities, technical institutions and other construction-sector stakeholders.
