Valoref is an international company founded in 1987, a pioneer in the recycling of refractories and technical ceramics from glass furnaces. Our waste management service covers the entire chain, from supporting your demolition contractor on site during furnace dismantling, all the way through to the final recycling of recovered materials. Valoref teams mobilise directly on customer sites to pre-sort, classify and route every refractory material to the appropriate processing stream, whether to our own facilities or to local disposal sites. The entire process is managed in full compliance with local and international regulations, including all administrative documentation. Beyond waste management services during demolition and maintenance operations, Valoref also provides dedicated container services for day-to-day refractory waste, as well as clearance services for dormant, aged or unused refractory stocks. Valoref also produces high-performance secondary raw materials from refractory and ceramic materials, including zirconia, alumina, AZS and chrome. By choosing our secondary raw materials, industries directly reduce their consumption of virgin raw materials and their environmental impact. The circular economy has been a foundation of our work from the very beginning.
