Biemme: reliability and expertise for over forty years serving the construction and industrial sectors Dynamism and entrepreneurial intuition have allowed the company, founded in 1983 by Piergiovanni Biagiotti, to create a group that today has achieved remarkable and lasting results, both nationally and internationally; these results make Biemme one of the first national companies in this sector. The company, of which Mr. Piergiovanni Biagiotti is still Chairman today, has invested and continues to invest in the experimentation of new technologies and new materials, in order to offer to his customers increasingly cutting edge products of absolute reliability, which manufactures and sells inside a modern structure owned by the group. The company, encouraged by the appreciation received so far, intends to continue to meet the demands of customers with increasing commitment, through the use of increasingly specialized workers and highly qualified consultants. Biemme began its history with the production and sale of closed cell expanded polyethylene, under the commercial name Polirex, an item that until then was unknown in the Italian market; thanks to Biemme today this product is widely used and known. Afterwards, always continuing the research to provide innovative proposals, the company began to produce non-woven fabric called Fioccotex; also in this case Biemme has been a pioneer and forerunner and the non-woven fabric (geotextile) has become in a few years a material that everyone uses. The products line that allowed Biemme to make a big leap in quality are definitely the fiberglass mesh products, manufactured and sold under the commercial name of Glasstex. Glasstex family, thanks to the high quality standards of the various products, many of which are certified by national and international research institutes, has allowed Biemme to have a great success both in Italy and abroad. This success continues today and is the crown-jewel of the company. These objectives have led Biemme to be one of the first companies in Italy in the building sector to obtain the ISO 9001 / UNI EN ISO 9001 quality system certification.
