Within our OKTOPUS® Vacuum Lifting Technology division, we develop and manufacture vacuum lifting equipment for both construction site operations and in-house industrial applications. The OKTOPUS® brand is synonymous with energy-independent vacuum lifters designed for installing large-format roof, wall, ceiling, and facade elements—including sandwich panels, trapezoidal sheet metal profiles, and glass . The OKTOPUS® product range is complemented by equipment for internal material transport and the automation of handling processes using vacuum technology. Counterweight balaner with load capacities of up to 20,000 kg—featuring integrated vacuum lifters or load hooks—enable the handling and installation of heavy loads even in areas with restricted access, such as beneath canopies, roof overhangs, balconies, or mezzanine platforms. Combined with our OKTOPUS® vacuum lifters, Wirth’s lightweight X-Y overhead crane systems , as well as pillar and wall-mounted jib cranes, form an integral part of flexible, cost-effective material flow solutions.
