Aluplast broadens its aluminium ambitions with the ONE 75 platform
Aluplast is strengthening its position in the aluminium market with ONE 75, a new window and door platform designed to bring architectural versatility, thermal performance and production efficiency into a single system.
Built around a frame depth of 75 mm, ONE 75 has been developed for a market in which aluminium is expected to deliver more than structural strength. Contemporary projects increasingly call for slimmer profiles, larger glazed areas and stronger energy performance, while manufacturers require systems that remain practical to fabricate and adaptable across different applications.
Rather than pursuing a single visual language, Aluplast has divided the platform into four distinct design variants: Basic, View, Steel and Loft.
The Basic version provides a restrained and versatile solution for conventional residential and commercial applications. View adopts a more minimalist approach, reducing the visual presence of the frame to create lighter façades and increase the proportion of glass. Steel and Loft introduce stronger architectural character, drawing on the narrow proportions and industrial appearance traditionally associated with steel-framed windows.
This variety is central to the proposition. Different architectural expressions can be achieved without moving away from the same underlying platform, giving architects greater creative freedom while allowing fabricators to maintain a more coherent production structure.
Energy performance has also shaped the system’s development. The HI, Steel and Loft configurations incorporate advanced thermal breaks intended to limit heat transfer through the aluminium profiles. Selected profile chambers may also be filled with insulating foam, further improving the thermal behaviour of the finished element.
ONE 75 accommodates glazing units of up to 58 mm in the frame and 67 mm in the sash. This capacity supports the use of substantial high-performance glass packages, an increasingly important consideration as building standards place greater emphasis on insulation, comfort and operational energy use.
The platform can be specified for fixed and opening windows, balcony doors, entrance doors and panel door configurations. Concealed leaves and flush profile solutions are also available, helping designers create façades with a cleaner and more uniform appearance.
Beyond individual products, Aluplast is presenting ONE 75 as part of a broader design ecosystem. The company has emphasised the visual relationship between the aluminium platform and its NEO PVC range, allowing the two materials to be used within the same development while retaining a consistent, geometric architectural language.
This approach reflects a wider change in the window and door sector. Material categories are becoming less isolated, while compatibility, visual coherence and manufacturing efficiency are gaining importance alongside conventional performance measures.
Key technical details
- Frame depth: 75 mm
- Sash depth: 84 mm
- Maximum frame glazing thickness: 58 mm
- Maximum sash glazing thickness: 67 mm
- Minimum frame and sash combination height: 91 mm

ONE 75 enters a competitive segment, but its strength lies in the breadth of its proposition. It is neither purely a minimalist system nor simply a thermally improved aluminium profile. Instead, it seeks to offer a flexible foundation from which manufacturers and designers can develop a broad family of visually distinct products.
For Aluplast, the platform marks a further step towards a portfolio in which PVC and aluminium are treated not as competing materials, but as complementary parts of a coordinated architectural offer.
