Crittall Announces Strategic Partnership with Secco Sistemi
Crittall Windows has formed a new strategic alliance with Italian manufacturer Secco Sistemi, a specialist in high-performance steel window and door systems. The collaboration strengthens Crittall’s premium product offering and aligns with its long-term growth strategy in both the UK and North American markets.
Working alongside Barclay Mathieson Architectural (BMA), the exclusive UK importer of Secco systems, Crittall will fabricate Secco’s thermally broken steel profiles, renowned for combining technical performance with refined architectural design. The move builds on a shared commitment to quality, innovation, and technical excellence.
Founded in 1947 near Venice, Secco Sistemi has earned international recognition for its use of architectural metals such as brass, corten, stainless steel, and galvanised steel. Its award-winning systems feature in landmark projects including Berlin’s James Simon Galerie by David Chipperfield Architects.
By sourcing Secco profiles and accessories through BMA, Crittall will retain full control over specification and supply—ensuring the same attention to detail and project-led service that has defined the Essex-based company for 175 years.

Managing Director Russell Ager said:
“This partnership allows us to offer a broader range of high-performance steel solutions while staying true to the principles that define Crittall: precision, quality and a clear understanding of architectural intent.”
Details of the Secco ranges to be available through Crittall will be released later this year, marking the start of a significant new chapter for the UK’s most established steel fenestration brand.
