ekey Launches HELLO Mailbox with Integrated DoorBird Door Station and Fingerprint Access
ekey is expanding its smart home portfolio with the launch of the HELLO mailbox – a complete solution combining a high-quality mailbox, DoorBird IP video door station, and the ekey sLine fingerprint scanner. The result is a stylish, secure and connected entrance system that allows users to open both their door and mailbox with a single touch.
The HELLO mailbox is designed to merge timeless design with cutting-edge technology. Available in anthracite grey (RAL 7016) and offered in both surface-mounted and flush-mounted versions, it is suitable for both new builds and modernisation projects.
Smart Access Meets Everyday Practicality
The HELLO mailbox goes beyond the traditional concept of mail storage by integrating intelligent access control and door communication.
Key features include:
- Fingerprint access – open the front door and mailbox securely with authorised fingerprints, eliminating the need for keys, codes or cards.
- Enhanced security – individual authorisations ensure that only approved users gain entry.
- Smart connectivity – integration with smart home systems, remote access, push notifications and voice control.
- Elegant design – a minimalist, durable finish that blends seamlessly into modern façades.
Three Components, One Complete Solution
The system consists of:
- ekey sLine Fingerprint Scanner – secure and convenient access control at the touch of a finger.
- DoorBird Video Door Station – real-time video and audio communication with visitors, including motion detection, night vision and remote access from anywhere.
- HELLO Mailbox – weather-resistant and electrically lockable, keeping mail safe and the entrance area streamlined.
Designed for Flexibility
Two variants ensure adaptability to any building structure:
- Surface-mounted version – simple installation, ideal for existing buildings.
- Flush-mounted version – seamless integration into the façade for new builds or complete renovations.
