Founded in 1974 in Altopascio, Tuscany, Fapim – originally an acronym for Fabbrica Accessori Per Infissi Metallici (Factory of Accessories for Metal Windows and Doors) – began with a clear mission: to produce fittings that combined innovation, ease of use and reliability.

Over the decades, the company has grown steadily, expanding its industrial facilities and corporate structures. A major milestone came in 2005 with the opening of a new production plant, marking a renewed commitment to industrial excellence.

International Expansion.

Since the late 1980s, Fapim has pursued internationalisation with determination, first across Europe and then globally. Subsidiaries were established in France, Spain, Belgium and Poland, followed by sales offices in Greece, the UK and the United States. Further growth included the creation of Fapim Middle East, Fapim Russia, and, in 2012, Fapim Argentina.

Today, Fapim exports 90% of its production to more than 100 countries worldwide, ensuring that Italian quality and innovation are accessible on every continent.
