On 1 April 2025, Gretsch-Unitas GmbH Architectural Hardware appointed Dr.-Ing. Jörg Teunissen as its new Managing Director. He joined the management team alongside Michael von Resch, who increasingly focused on strategic responsibilities within the wider GU Group.

Strengthened Leadership Across the GU Group.

With this appointment, all companies within the GU Group – including GU Automatic GmbH, BKS GmbH and Ferco S.A.S. – were led by their own managing directors. This organisational development broadened the leadership base and strengthened the group’s continuity and long-term stability.

An Experienced Industry Expert.

Dr Teunissen brought extensive experience from the construction supply industry, with particular expertise in building hardware and automation technology. His leadership skills and technical expertise made him an ideal choice for the position.
