VEKA France has officially launched operations at its new logistics hub in Saint-Loup-de-Varennes (Saône-et-Loire), marking a significant milestone in the company’s industrial strategy. The relocation of stock from the Thonon-les-Bains facility to the new site, carried out with precision during the summer shutdown, signals the beginning of a new era in logistics and customer service.

The new site features 11,000 m² of covered logistics facilities, 3,000 m² of outdoor storage, and the potential for a further 7,000 m² of expansion. Strategically located just 3 km from the A6 motorway, the centre brings VEKA closer to its fabricator clients, enhances responsiveness, and strengthens the company’s ability to meet specific demands.

By relocating logistics, VEKA is freeing up valuable space at its Thonon plant, enabling an increase in production capacity. This decision underpins VEKA’s long-term strategy: investing in industrial excellence to meet growing market demand for high-performance and sustainable window solutions.

Sustainability is embedded in the design of the new logistics centre. Planned initiatives include:

• Photovoltaic panels on the roof from early 2026.
• LED lighting and charging stations for electric vehicles.
• A transition to electric forklifts.
• Landscaping with over 250 trees and shrubs, along with nesting boxes.
• Eco-grazing on site, supported by sheep.
