Schüco Extends Integralmaster Sun Shading to PVC-U Systems
Schüco has expanded its Integralmaster roller blind system, making it available not only for aluminium but now also for its PVC-U ranges, including LivIng, LivIng Alu Inside, Symbiotic and FocusIng. The system is fully concealed in the glazing bead, leaving the architecture of the window unchanged while giving occupants precise control of light, glare and privacy.
Protected from the Elements
Unlike external blinds, the Integralmaster sits inside the frame and is shielded from rain, wind and dirt. This positioning reduces cleaning, extends durability and prevents weather-related damage. For homeowners, the result is reliable performance with minimal upkeep – an increasingly important factor as expectations for low-maintenance housing rise.
Comfort and Choice
A broad selection of textiles and reflective films allows tailored solutions: opaque options for bedrooms, semi-transparent screens for living spaces, or high-performance reflective versions for hot climates. Tests show the system can cut glare by up to 97 per cent and limit solar heat gain by 85 per cent. These figures comply with EU workstation standards, making the solution particularly suited to the home office market.
Technology for Modern Living
The mechanism is invisible from outside and prevents side light leakage inside, ensuring a clean appearance. Users can choose between a manual chain hoist and a discreet 24V motor, both without affecting the window’s operation.
A Broader Market Strategy
For Schüco, the move reflects a shift in how shading is perceived: no longer an accessory, but an integral part of the building envelope. As energy regulations tighten and design standards evolve, integrated solutions are becoming indispensable. With more than €2 billion turnover last year and a presence in over 80 countries, Schüco continues to expand its portfolio towards sustainable, digital and design-driven products.
